Two teachers, both named on the timetable, so you know who you are learning from before you come.
Founder and chief instructor
Imam Engr. Abd'Wasiu Tirmidhi Adeniyi
A student of knowledge, a civil engineer, an imam and a beekeeper. He founded the foundation, teaches most of its classes, and wrote the book its remedies library is built from.
Abd'Wasiu Tirmidhi Adeniyi is a student of knowledge and a writer from Ede, Osun State. He began his Islamic education young and has never really stopped: he studied prophetic medicine under respected scholars, and he still attends seminars across Nigeria and online alongside other students of knowledge. What he learns, he passes on — in lectures, in classes, and in writing.
He serves as Chief Imam of Surulere Mosque and lectures at Olowobida Central Mosque. Alongside that he is a civil engineer, holding a bachelor's and a master's degree in the field and currently working towards a PhD.
Mufti, Mahad li Islaamiy, Ede
Shaykh (Dr) Yaaqub Muhibullah Abd'hammed Olore
Teaches the monthly seminar on business transactions and interpersonal relations — the fiqh of trade, contracts and how people treat one another.
The Shaykh comes to the Institute on the last Sunday of every month for a single, longer sitting. The subject is deliberately practical: what makes a sale valid, what makes a contract sound, what a Muslim owes the person on the other side of a transaction.
He teaches as Mufti at Mahad li Islaamiy in Ede. Recordings of his seminars are in the library alongside the weekly classes.
